Brief History
Anything you can do, they can do SKA. Skatune Network is what happens when you get a person who really likes ska, as well as not ska, but wants to hear the not ska as ska, SO they use their skill to be kinda ok at every part of a band to re-create songs that aren't ska as ska songs.
Launched by 23-year-old Florida musician Jeremy Hunter, who uses the pronouns they/them, Skatune Network flips some of your favorite tunes into full-on ska remakes: From 80s pop ballads (George Michael's "Careless Whisper"), to emo anthems (My Chemical Romance's "I'm Not Okay (I Promise)"), to R&B jams (The Jackson 5’s “ABC”), no genre is left un-skanked. Hunter even reworks songs and theme music from popular movies ( The Rocky Horror Picture Show), TV shows ( The Office), and video games ( The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time). Their musical mission is clear: to make every song ever into a ska song.
