Nile Dawta is a progressive artist from Nairobi, Kenya and the founder of Neo-Roots in the Eastern African region.
Neo-Roots is a blend of conscious afro-soul chants and roots reggae music, that’s seeks to inspire, provoke and invoke, while promoting an African inspired existence, in exploration of one’s self.
As the founder of WeN_Music (also her previous musical moniker), which is an acronym for We exist Now- Music, she seeks to create and promote community, peace and love in all our up-takings.
She specializes in live roots music and I has been able to tour Kenya, Uganda and Rwanda. She has performed at many music festivals and has shared a stage with Jah9 in early 2020.
