Jon E Bravo, aka Mr. Kingpin, has been writing, recording, and performing ska music for 16 years with Dallas based 2Tone band, Rude King. In this time he has shared a stage with legends of the genre such as The Skatalites and Derrick Morgan, as well as the current greats of the scene like The Aggrolites, The Toasters, and many more.
Mr. Kingpin is his new musical project with a passion to release authentic Jamaican sounds of the 60's. The focus of this project is to record and perform original vintage inspired ska, rocksteady, and boss reggae along with covers of classic ska tracks of the past.
